This is a very inclusive guide. It has information on sights, restaurants, motels and much more. I liked that the author lists good choices of restaurants for any budget. I order this book used for just pennies and it was in perfect condition. I was so pleased with it for the price. It also includes various maps too. A great deal for the low price!

Summary: "a must if you visit New York City for the first time"
I had this book to study for a couple of weeks before my first trip to NYC. It was invaluable. It gave information about how to get around on the subway, what to expect from a cab driver, information and ratings on many sites to visit, prices, hours of operation, phone numbers, and so much more. I took the book with me everywhere I went on the trip as a reference. The next city I visit, I will order a Frommer's book to plan the trip. It was a tremendous help.
